The purpose of the Mary and Martha society is to provide the spiritual means of hearing God's word as Mary did, and the corporal means of serving God as Martha did.

All ladies of the Parish are welcome to join.

Meetings are held in the St. Francis Room the second Thursday of each month.

• September- Mass in Church 9:30a.m --Meeting follows
• October- Day OF RECOLLECTION
• November- Benediction or rosary in chapel 9:30 -- Meeting follows
• December- Mass in Church 10:30 --Meeting and Christmas luncheon
• January- No meeting
• February-Rosary in chapel 9:30 -- Meeting and salad luncheon follows
• March- Mass in Church 10:30 -- Meeting and St. Patrick luncheon
• April- Benediction in chapel 9:30 --Meeting follows
• May- Rosary in chapel 9:30 Meeting follows
• June- Mass in Church 10:30 followed by meeting and installation of new officers. Luncheon to close year.

Following is a list of some services that the Mary and Martha Society provide for Holy Family.

• Adoration Chapel - Members sign to spend the hour between 7-8a.m. each Saturday.
• Altar Linens - Ladies sign up to launder altar linens for each month.
• Church Cleaning -Members clean and vacuum the sanctuary and parts of the rest of the church each week.
• Day Of Recollection - Sponsored by Mary & Martha and open to all
• Funeral Luncheons - Upon request by a family member of a parishioner, Mary & Martha ladies prepare and serve a lunch in the St. Francis Room after the services.
• Get Well Cards-Cards are sent to Parish Members who are in the area hospitals.
• Quilting - A group of members and friends make at least two quilts a year. One is raffled off at our Bake sale and the other one is raffled at Heritage Days.
• Rosary-Members lead the rosary before 3 masses each weekend during May and October
• Sterling Towers Outreach- Two cakes are provided for the monthly birthday parties.
